An angry God…

I have heard and read sermons that present God as an angry God.  To believe in an angry God is to believe in a God that has anger as one more of his descriptive terms.  to say angry God is to the same as to say faithful God or loving God, or patient god, or caring God.

God is not an angry God. Perhaps at times, out of a deep concern fueled by his love for us, God may experience anger towards our sinful actions. Nevertheless, this does not make us think of an angry God, rather, a loving God who cares for us deeply. Therefore, it is best to present God as a loving God, which is more accurate with who he is.
