Joining the BSM means you want to be part of a community of students. Therefore you must be willing to contribute to the BSM community and the UTPA community at large.
- A BSMer is a friend to other students.
- A BSMer is also one who is committed to being part of a small group weekly gathering we call Journey Groups.
- A BSMer is part of a service team. We have at least 8 different teams you can serve at, from publicity, set up, dorm life, to missions and fundraising. You will be assigned a team and a Journey Group once you join.
- A BSMer is also committed to learning more about God. It does not matter where you are in your spiritual life. You may have never thought about it and are now for the first time thinking about it. All we ask is that you are open to learning about God in the context of other students who are also seriously committed to learning about God.
